Exclaim Expands Reach into Latin America
Partnership with WAU broadens Exclaim’s reach to 45 wireless operators and 300 million additional subscribers in Latin America
TRENTON, NJ—Oct. 24, 2007—Exclaim, a leading publisher of wireless applications for user-generated content (UGC) exchange and rich-media infotainment, today announced a strategic partnership with WAU, Latin America’s leading mobile content aggregator and integrator. The deal establishes WAU as Exclaim’s sales, marketing and integration partner in Latin America for its mobile applications under its Pictavision® and MyApps® portfolio brands, as well as the Pictavision® DMM platform for wireless carriers and content providers. The relationship also envisions creating new applications and services targeted towards mobile users in the region based on WAU’s vast wireless carrier relationships, direct-to-consumer mobile portals, and local content. Exclaim’s applications will now be available via WAU’s extensive network of over 45 wireless carriers in 18 countries across Latin America.

Fully localized versions of Exclaim’s popular wireless applications are available to all WAU carriers in Central America, South America, and Mexico. Its complete portfolio of applications will be available in Spanish and Portuguese for JAVA™, Symbian™ and BREWÒ operating systems for all major handset vendors including Motorola, Sony Ericsson, SAMSUNG, Nokia and LG. - MyApps® portfolio of rich-media downloadable entertainment and lifestyle applications allow users to access the latest content in the form of text, graphics, and ring-tones, as well as talking “avatars” that deliver personalized updates. - Pictavision® portfolio of downloadable applications allow camera phone users to upload, download, and message user-generated photos and videos, connecting consumers external digital media exchange points. Current exchange points include blogs; photo and video portals; and social networks such as Kodak, Flickr™, HP Snapfish, Google Blogger, YouTube, MSN® Spaces, Facebook, and ImageShack®.
